Tell South Carolina Office of the State Treasurer: no new Israel Bonds

This office is tracked as a current or suspected holder. Bond maturities are decision points, and sustained public pressure is exactly how Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, and Maryland won.

To: treasurer@sto.sc.gov
Subject: Do not reinvest maturing Israel Bonds

Dear South Carolina Office of the State Treasurer:

I am a South Carolina resident writing about public funds invested in Israel Bonds (Development Corporation for Israel). These bonds are unrestricted loans to the Israeli government during its war on Gaza, and all three major credit rating agencies have downgraded Israel's debt since October 2023.

As these bonds mature, I urge South Carolina Office of the State Treasurer not to reinvest in Israel Bonds, and to publish a full public accounting of past and current holdings.

Thank you,
